Why use ?
Advertisers use because their advert/newsletter/ezine/offer appears in relevant categories on WorldWideLists.com. is the only pay-per-lead program that offers content placement. This way, our advertisers receive highly targeted, opt-in leads. The more targeted the leads, the more responsive they will be to your offers. |
Is there any software to download or install?
No. You do not need to download or install any software on your web server because is housed on our web servers.
Once you sign up, you will have instant access to the password-protected Member Center where you can manage your account and edit your list details. |
Is restricted to newsletters only? Can you drive targeted subscribers to my 7-part email course?
Any opt-in list, including email newsletters and email courses are both acceptable, and can be advertised in our network of co-registration web sites. If you publish an email course which is sent to your subscribers by autoresponder, for example, then can trigger your autoresponder by sending your opt-in email addresses to your autoresponder email address.
As an example, you can subscribe to the 7-part email course Build Your Opt-in Email List at Lightning Speed and Boost Your Bottom-Line. |
What is the best way to go if I don't have a newsletter or ezine yet?
The beauty about is that you don't need a list or ezine to get started.
Once you create your account, you can come up with a list name and description, which will then be prominently displayed in targeted category pages on WorldWideLists.com.
This way, people can start subscribing to your list immediately, and your list of subscribers will continue to grow, all while you spend your valuable time preparing your list content and its first issue.
Then, once you're ready to launch the first issue of your list, you'll already have a solid base of responsive subscribers.
All too often, people who want to start a list end up spending many hours, weeks, and months tweaking and fine-tuning the content, and the look and feel, of their list. Then, when they're finally ready to launch their first issue, they have NO subscribers.
So, by getting started with now, you'll put yourself ahead of the game. |

If I sign up for 1000 double opt-in leads per month, will I be paying $177 per month or could it possibly be more depending on the bidding process?
If you sign up for 1000 double opt-in email addresses for a cost of $149.95 (15 cents per subscriber) and subsequently change your bid price from, say 15 cents to 16 cents each, then you will actually end up receiving 937 opt-ins because of your higher cost-per-lead (bid price).
The advantage of increasing your bid price is that your listing would appear more prominently towards the top of the category pages, above the clutter of other listings, many of which have a bid price of 15 cents.
The display of lists is much like the display of search listings in pay-per-click search engines - the higher your bid price, the higher your listing appears on the page. |

What are the differences among single opt-in, double opt-in, and triple opt-in?
Single Opt-in
Single opt-in implies permission, meaning someone has given you explicit permission to send them email in a certain capacity. If the person checks the checkbox next to your listing, then this implies their subscription request.
Our system does, however, send the person a confirmation message to verify their intent.
If you select your Opt-in Method as Single opt-in, then when someone requests a subscription to your advert/newsletter/ezine/offer, our system sets the person's subscription status to "pending" and we send them a confirmation message.
If the confirmation message is returned because of a permanent error (i.e., User unknown, Mailbox not found, Invalid recipient, etc.), then the person's email address is marked as "rejected." The email address will not be passed along to you, and you will not be charged for the lead.
If the confirmation message is returned because of a temporary error (i.e., timeouts, out-of-office replies, etc.), then our system will attempt to delivery the message 6 hours later.
As another safeguard to help protect against fraudulent subscriptions, each single opt-in confirmation message includes an opt-out link. If the recipient clicks the opt-out link within 12 hours of receipt of the message, then the recipient's email address is marked as "rejected." The email address will not be passed along to you, and you will not be charged for the lead.
Double Opt-in
Double opt-in means that the user has confirmed their request to receive your list.
If you select your Opt-in Method as Double opt-in, then when someone requests a subscription to your list, our system sends them a confirmation message which must be replied to. If the recipient replies to the confirmation message, then their email address is passed along to you.
Triple Opt-in
Triple opt-in takes the subscription process one step further.
If you select your Opt-in Method as Triple opt-in, then when someone requests a subscription to your list, our system sends them a confirmation message which must be replied to. If the recipient replies to the confirmation message, then our system sends them a second confirmation message which must be replied to before their email address is passed along to you. |

How are your leads any different than buying them from OppSeekers and NitroListBuilder?
These lead sources only provide you with generic email addresses that have not specifically opted in to YOUR list. The leads they send to you may have "requested information," but they have not specifically requested a subscription to YOUR list because they know nothing about the content of your list. They have never seen it.
The advantage of using is that your list is placed specifically on relevant pages. For example, if you publish a business-related list, then it would appear in our Business category.
Only when someone comes to our web site and finds your list title and brief description, do they decide whether or not to subscribe to it. If they do request a subscription to your list, and subsequently confirm their subscription request, then their email address is passed along to you. These are considered double opt-in email addresses.
The "leads" you receive from sources OppSeekers and NitroListBuilder are just that - leads. There's a HUGE difference in QUALITY when comparing leads to "confirmed subscribers."
Remember the adage "You get what you pay for." If you're paying a penny for a lead, then you can expect unresponsive subscribers, and little, if any, return on your investment.

How do I deal with undeliverable (bounced) mail?
Some bounces are the result of temporary problems with the lead's mail host or with the Internet itself, while other bounces are the result of abandoned email accounts, people that left the company they worked at, etc. You can look at the information in the message that explains why the message bounced and make a decision whether or not to remove that lead based on whether the problem appears to be temporary or not.
In most cases, undeliverable mail identifies mailboxes which are temporarily full and have reached capacity, or people who are on vacation and have created a temporary auto-reply message. If you wait a couple of days and then attempt to send mail again, more times than not, the email address will accept your message. |

How does real-time delivery to my web form work?
If you choose Web Form as your preferred Delivery Type, then all you need to do is tell us the action URL which your form uses when the subscriber submits your form.
For example, when you view the HTML source code for your form, you may see something like this:
<form method="post" action="http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/arp3-formcapture.pl">If your form contains HTML source code like this, then the web form address (action URL) would be http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/arp3-formcapture.pl.

Note: Your new subscribers are not directed to your web page, so they cannot complete a survey or submit information to your web form other than their name and email address. |

I have noticed that some ads are highlighted in yellow color. Why? And why aren't they all in the top positions?
The List Highlite add-on feature allows you to add attention-grabbing color to your listing so that you can stand out from the crowd and increase your subscription rate by up to 300%. Any member can use the List Highlite add-on, whether they maintain the top position in a category or not. |

I am considering a purchase of 1000 leads per month but after the first couple of days I have only received a handful of new subscribers. Will you be able to generate 1000 or more subscribers within 30 days?
Based on current traffic trends and the number of daily subscription requests on WorldWideLists.com, can generate up to 5000 single opt-in email addresses per month for your list, 3000 double opt-in email addresses, or 2000 triple subscribers per month.
Once you have completed the payment process, the exposure of your list across our network will be improved which will dramatically increase the number of daily subscribers you receive. |

I've heard that the quality of single opt-in leads are not very high. is there any truth behind this?
Double opt-in means that the user has confirmed their request to receive your list. sends the user a confirmation message which must be replied to before their email address is passed along to you.
Single opt-in implies permission, meaning someone has given you explicit permission to send them email in a certain capacity. does not send the user a confirmation message to verify their intent. If the user checks the checkbox next to your listing, then this implies their subscription request.
As a result, the single opt-in quality is less than that of double opt-in email addresses. If QUANTITY is what you're looking for, then your best choice is single opt-in. However, if QUALITY is what you're looking for, then your best choice is double opt-in. |

Do you accept fee-based (paid subscription) newsletters/ezines?
Yes. WorldWideLists.com contains both fee-based (paid subscription) lists and free lists. |
When I purchase 500 leads per month, am I guaranteed to receive all of them within 30 days, or do you just charge me for the number that I actually receive?
Some of our clients receive from 3000-5000 opt-ins per month, so it is safe to say that you'll receive all 500 opt-ins within 30 days. If not, any additional funds in your account will be carried over to the next month. |
Is and WordWideLists.com compliant with all government and CAN-SPAM regulations?
We abide by all laws and compliance issues set forth by the Canadian and United States governments, and the CAN-SPAM Act. |
