Thanks for stopping by ...
If you can spare a few minutes and you want to get to know a little more about me personally, then feel free read on ... I'll do my best not to bore you too much. ;-)
Where to begin? Well, for starters, I currently reside in the town of White Rock (population 50,000) which is located in the southern-most part of British Columbia, Canada.
I have two amazing boys, Ryan (born October 8, 1999) and Brayden (born October 26, 2001).
I didn't know it at the time, but my high school crush who I was too shy to ever talk to, would one day become my wife and my best friend. As fate would have it, we finally connected some 23 years later when I "friended" her on Facebook. In fact, the first line of her first email to me read, "Hey shy guy ... took you 23 years to talk to me!" During the next 18 months, and some 43 return flights from Vancouver to Toronto, we created not only an incredible friendship together, but we are now the very best of friends. On Christmas Eve 2009, I proposed to Julie, and seven months later, on July 14, 2010, we were married at the Iberostar Paraiso Grand in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico.
In August 2010, Julie and her son, Mason (born November 2, 1998), moved 2,083 miles across the country from Georgetown, Ontario to White Rock, BC to live with Ryan, Brayden, and me. And the rest, as they say, is history.
As a work-at-home dad, a big chunk of every day involves driving the boys back and forth to school, the soccer field, and the hockey rink. My flexible work schedule affords me the luxury of knowing their friends and teachers - most on a first name basis.
And, of course, I can't forget about our amazing family cats, Bailey and Crash, and "puppy dog" Jag!
I was born on December 3, 1966 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I spent my first 12 years in Montreal, then the family moved to Georgetown, Ontario, Canada - about 45 minutes northwest of Toronto - where I spent my teenage years.
I graduated from high school in 1986, then attended East Tennessee State University on a cross-country running and track and field scholarship. After 1 1/2 years in Tennessee, I returned home and started my first full-time job.
My early years were spent in the auto and property insurance industry where I held several sales, service and underwriting positions with Simcoe Erie Group and CIBC Insurance (formerly The Personal Insurance Company).
Years later I moved into the product development area at CIBC Insurance where held a quality control and testing position which involved the product launches of several software applications.
As every year passed, I became less and less passionate about my career and really didn't see any end in sight. I began to resent life in the corporate world, including the commute, 3 weeks vacation per year, back-stabbing, and corporate red-tape. Needless to say, it was an easy decision to leave when things started to take off in the online world.
Turning Point: November 30, 1997
This was the day I bought my first domain name, funnyjokes.com. The idea wasn't to make any money, but instead just to build web site for "fun" and to send a Joke of the Day to a few friends. The mailing list soon grew from a small list of a few friends, to a bigger list including friends of friends, to a huge list in just a matter of months.
Soon thereafter, I discovered ValueClick, a web banner service, which allowed me to display third-party banners on my web sites, and paid me on a per banner impression basis. All I did was place some code on my web pages and presto! Soon I was making an average of $500 every month without lifting a finger.
And, before long, not only was my Joke of the Day mailing list thriving, but now I was also building 8-10 other humor-related mailing lists at the same time, and my readership skyrocketed to over 500,000 subscribers.
Soon thereafter, I discovered the email advertising goldmine where I learned how to sell my high-demand ad space, and earn up to $1,000 for each mailing. Soon I was earning from $2,000 - $5,000 per week just to distribute recycled jokes and humor.
Milestone: March 10, 2000
This was the day I left my full time job. I have been pursuing online marketing full time for a couple of years now, and I am achieving greater wealth online than I ever dreamed possible. Online marketing now makes me more money every month than I used to make in a full year.
In less than two years my "hobby" has grown into a profitable online business with just a handful of web sites.
My online success has come very quickly.
I am a student of "How To" and self-improvement books. I am always looking for that edge to take myself and my projects to the next level. Over the years I have purchased many dozens of online products and services, far too many to name or even remember. I encourage you to be brave enough to purchase quality products that you come across that will enhance your life.
Present:
Over the past months I been working on many new projects. And I will be updating this site to keep you informed of all of my projects. If you would like to be kept informed of my upcoming projects please subscribe to my blog. You can also click the My Products link for more details about my existing products and upcoming product launches.
My web sites and online marketing have now put me on pace to earn over six figures per month.
One of the benefits of being your own boss and a successful entrepreneur is the freedom that come with it. Like most people, I used to work 40 hours per week and struggle to pay the bills. Now, I work when I want, travel when I want, and money isn't the issue it used to be. Does that change in lifestyle sound appealing to you? It seemed facinating to me, so I committed myself to realizing my dream. And you can too.
In November 2008, I built my dream home in the upscale community of Morgan Heights in the oceanside town of beautiful White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. In just a few short years I've realized my dream of moving from a rental suite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to a $1.1 million dollar home nestled on a private greenbelt.
I don't say this to impress you, but rather to impress upon you that you too can share a similar lifestyle if you work hard and dedicate yourself to taking action.
If you're interested in taking your business to the next level, then I invite you to check out all of my products and make sure you subscribe to my blog for frequent updates.
